A research study conducted at Stanford University proved that voices outside of the United States tend to be friendlier and more supportive in those with schizophrenia. This prompted me to look into the Call of the Void: a phenomenon where the sudden, unexplained desire to engage in dangerous or self destructive behaviors. I believe that just like the Stanford study, the call of the void doesn't have to be as intrusively abhorrent! Our relationship to states of being and words has over powered the very meaning of words themselves. Void or vacant, empty, vast etc isn't negative. It is a well of our past, present, parallel and future selves when our approach is rooted in the deep, transformative power of knowledge of self and love.
